Like most people, Laurie and I used a traditional sellers agent real estate broker when we bought our first home. We were not aware of the reality of the agent-client relationship, or that there were other options available to us. We were sheep led to the slaughter. Our experience with those traditional seller brokers was that they routinely withheld information, often presented facts in a misleading fashion, and always tried to get us to spend more money for more house than we really wanted. David would see structural and other defects immediately and make recommendations as to whether the house was worth considering or not. His professional advice while bargaining made that difficult part much easier and really helped close the deal. You have a lot more confidence when you know what the house is actually worth. I wrote this letter thanking you and hoping you can use it on your web
site.

When I decided to buy a house, I searched several web sites. Most of
them were a lot of work with little feed back. EBRI and David Kennedy
were the first to contact me and in less than 24 hours. And the web
site was much easier and faster than any other I visited.

From the moment I spoke to David, he began helping me with my
search. Within two days we began looking at houses that fit my request.

In the past when looking for a home with a realtor, I would inevitably
end up looking at houses they wanted to sell versus what I was really
looking for. Nor did they take the time to point out what was wrong
with the houses they showed me. There was always pressure to see
things their way.

Not with EBRI. From the minute David and I got out of the car to look
at a property he would take his time with me, looking at the
foundation, structural issues a house might have, drainage, potential
for standing water and any other future problems that might occur.
Inside was the same. There was more than one occasion where I missed
something and he would point it out for me. I am in construction and
don't miss much, so I was very pleased that I had him to help. He
also made sure he pointed out the upgrades and work the owners put
into their homes. He was fair.

Once I found the house I wanted, David worked with the realtor on the
property, ensuring that everything was in good working order and he
stayed on the realtor and owner to make sure everything was as they
said.

A couple of days before the signing, we went for the final walk
through and found the water meter had been removed. We left, David
called the realtor and the water was turned back on. David again went
to the house on my behalf to make sure everything was ok and found a
water leak. He then called the realtor and told him that the owner
had to make it right. David stayed at the house while the plumber was
fixing the leak. This is something that he definitely did not have to
do. To say that David went far beyond what was expected of him is an
understatement.

I am in my new house now and very happy with it. Thanks to David and
EBRI my financial responsibility was minimal on closing and no major
repairs in my immediate future because he kept the realtor and owner
honest.

In this day and age, to find someone with the integrity of David
